Nineteenth Century Masterfile (Poole’s Plus)

Poole's Plus is an enhanced Web edition of William Frederick Poole's Index to Periodical Literature, 1802-1906 and a reference service for scholars, bibliographers, and students of the Nineteenth Century. It is a resource for the study of Nineteenth-Century cultural and intellectual life.

Upon receipt of an institutional purchase order, Paratext grants the Subscriber access to Poole's Plus for educational, research, and personal use by the faculty, staff, students, alumni and library patrons including the walk-in public at workstations located in public areas of the library utilizing the Subscriber's contiguous campus network. Distance learners, alumni, and other off-campus affiliates may access Poole's Plus if their Internet access is through the campus network...

...Users may download and print citations from Poole's Plus for personal use and archive contents on their own personal computers. They may send one copy by email, print, or fax to one person at another location for that individual's personal use...

Subscribers and users may not disseminate content from Poole's Plus outside the geographically contiguous campus by any means, except as noted in [Allowed Use]. Transmission of the digital source code, whether plain ASCII or tagged, and use of contents and articles in coursepacks are expressly prohibited...Subscribers shall not distribute, sell, commercially exploit, create derivative works from or otherwise make available the contents of Poole's Plus in any medium, to a third party...
